The Role
As an Experience Designer at App Shack, you will play a pivotal role in crafting user-centred solutions. You’ll lead product discovery, conduct user research, and design flows and wireframes that ensure delightful and effective user journeys. Working closely with clients and our internal teams, you will help bridge business goals, technical constraints, and user needs to deliver impactful products.

You excel in understanding user behaviour, facilitating workshops, and creating prototypes that test and validate ideas. Your expertise in UX design will drive the success of the products we deliver.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to define user needs and project goals.
• Conduct user research and testing, synthesising insights into actionable designs.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, personas, and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles while balancing business objectives.
• Create comprehensive UX documentation and guidelines.
• Stay informed on UX trends and best practices to continuously improve our processes.

What We Look For

• Extensive experience in UX design (5+ years preferred).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Axure, and Adobe XD.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience working on complex design projects, particularly for mobile and web applications.
• Fluent in English.
